Working Families United is a non-profit 501(c) 3 organization built on a christian foundation.

Our MISSION is to bring working families out of consistent low-income living , for the expansion of the middle class, and to persistently empower families for the safeguarding of future generations to come.

Our GOAL is to  help working families lead strong, stable, prosperous lives through educational  tools, empowering resources, and on-going support that will eliminate self-inflicting struggling and poverty.

This will lessen the strain on federal welfare programs designed for the chronically needy.

Our programs are designed to:

  • help families and communities out of poverty and homelessness - permanently through educational tools, coaching and long term support

  • build lasting anti-poverty solutions for families and communities through awareness education and hands on skills training

  • build the capacity for our organization to reach communities all over the United States through awareness campaigns and a center in every major city.

  • empower families, employers, churches and communities for future success by building strategies for life.

WFUI is partnering with individuals, businesses, churches, philanthropist and communities -bridging the gap that is lacking for working families in their time of need.

When working families cannot meet the qualifications set by federal welfare programs and lending organizations -where do they go?

WFUI is an alternative solution (not welfare) for working families. We are here for a"hand up" not a "hand out."

Our services requires accountability from our families. Using our "Pay It Forward" method.

Although this is not a new method, it's a lost concept. Getting help starts with a sincere desire for change, effort to due better, and helping others.

We understand that our families have pride and integrity and would benefit from our Pay It Forward system.

The WF Financial Literacy & Resource Center is designed to educate, motivate, meet their needs, and support our families. While, repositioning them for growth and stability.

Our Objective

Our objective is to pull working families out of a system that was never designed for them. Most social service organizations are structured for those who are chronically in need, disabled, the mentally challenged, and those faced with chronic addictions.

Most emergency services or churches are unable to provide families with ongoing financial support. Social service or faith-based organizations may only offer financial support once a year. Some, once in a life-time. Because of limited support, we find families moving from agency to agency.

When these sources fail or are no longer an option, families turn to family and friends. Some who may or may not be no better off. WFUI wants to bridge the gap and change the future of how working families receive emergency help.

WFUI is here to strengthen and empower working families for a better and stable future while helping them become "Individually Socially Responsible" for their community and the next generation.

Building "Individually Socially Responsible" employees. Builds better and stronger homes, businesses, churches and communities.
